The name “Missi” means beauty queen (or pageant queen) in Finnish, translating Missi Archives to “beauty queen archives.”

Our founder, originally from Finland, has worked in various roles in the fashion and luxury fashion industry. She draws inspiration for Missi Archives from the simplicity of Scandinavian fashion and the dynamic and eccentric street style of New York. 

What began as a personal collection has evolved into a globally sourced archive of one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, with a focus on 90s and early 2000s fashion and flashes of 80s maximalism.
